Follow-up from an earlier TKC report . . . Check new tech looking to dissuade Kansas City drivers from lingering too long in this local destination that has become an auto nightmare. Take a look:
You are now required to pay for parking along some streets in the River Market
You are now required to pay for parking along certain streets in the River Market district of downtown Kansas City. The city installed parking meters last month. But these aren't your standard meters. The city installed four different types of pay stations.
My solution is that I no longer shop and dine in the River Market neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteYou never did. Liar.
DeleteWhen will the Plaza get them?
ReplyDeleteThe meters are needed during the day. The parking problems are nights and weekends. City Hall is totally out of touch again.
ReplyDeleteWhat 3:28 said.
ReplyDeleteThanks Trolley
ReplyDeleteDo go there problem solved.
ReplyDeleteUgh. Pants-shitters. None of you ever go there.
ReplyDeleteNow those Fancy Parking Meters they installed, their there to be mowed down by a few drunks right ?????
ReplyDelete3:28 said it best and the path I follow now. The city has killed the City Market area.
ReplyDeleteDamn! I guess I be buying my soy sprouts and chinese food at HiVee - outside the city limits, of course.
ReplyDeleteAny viable business in the River Market area better find new digs soon. Customers will be staying away in droves.
ReplyDeleteNah. False narrative delivered by a moron with no business acumen. The Market will be fine.
ReplyDeleteYet another reason to stay north of the river.
