10 cars shot at, damaged in Lee's Summit neighborhood

Police say criminals are targeting vehicles in a Lee's Summit neighborhood. Families woke up with shattered windows and cars on their side of the cars and trucks. Five vehicles were damaged alone on Hoke Lane. Neighbors believe the shooter was traveling north and targeting vehicles on the side of the street.


Woman shot at Hawthorne Place Apartments remains in ICU

Police investigating shooting in Shawnee

Police in Shawnee are investigating a shooting in the 5200 block of Barton Drive. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time. The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. on Thursday night. Copyright 2017 KCTV (Meredith Corp.) All rights reserved.

We need a law making it 50 hard years, no parole, for firing a firearm from a vehicle in the commission of a felony crime.

How about 150 years, no parole, and definitely no Judge's discretion, for being a Felon caught in possession of a firearm?
