Gen X couple watches too many movies OR just a bit more grassroots marketing for this blockbuster. Checkit:
Red balloon tied to storm drain troubles Grandview parents who know Stephen King's clown story
GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- It seems innocent enough: a lone red ballon on a sidewalk. It's popping up around the metro - and your social media feeds. But when it's coupled with this weekends blockbuster movie Stephen King's It, the photos suddenly seem sinister.
ReplyDeleteI guess you jackasses have now given all the fourteen year olds around your town something to do that will upset some "adults", haven't you?
Better watch out, you might see a Black Cat somewhere in Grandview, too!
STEPHEN KING's BOOK ARE FICTION, DUMBASSES!
And not even very good Fiction, either.
Each of them is just some sort of re-hash of H.P. Lovecraft,
only not nearly as scary!
I agree with 9:05, except that I would add that if you investigate this, I think you will find that this is a case of one teen bullying another. We are experiencing an epidamic of teen suicides, & for this reason this shouldn't be just dismissed.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with 9:05 on the grounds that he is a pants-shitting geezer who wouldn't know good fiction if it sat on his face.
ReplyDeleteWhen was the last time a red balloon killed or beat anyone up?
ReplyDeleteWould 99 red balloons be related to 99 Luftballoons? (think about it)
ReplyDeleteFucking Drama created by people with little to nothing to do.
