KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE #100 ROUNDUP



We talked about this milestone on Friday and now it's news fact . . .

From the morning, here's more info and a roundup of news on the murder today that puts Kansas City on pace for a homicide record of 153 set back in 1993 and marks the century mark in late August:

KCTV5: Kansas City police investigating homicide on North Oak Trafficway

 Fox4: The victim is described as a black male in his 40s. There is no suspect information at this time.

 KMBC: KCPD investigating homicide inside a business on North Oak Trafficway

At this point last year there were around 73 murders which makes this a 36% uptick in the count this year.

    9:03 - "keep" Blacks out of the Northland? I hate to tell you but all races have been in the Northland for decades. This particular strip mall attracts trouble from all ethnic groups. There are two apartment complexes nearby that are home to many just out of jail or out of rehab. Trouble is always there.

    Same thing here , drove by the whacked out plaza , looking like the inner city youth scholar gang bangers were all out in full force , didn't stop by to shop , went out to the Golden Ghetto of leewood and overland Park later to spend money there , felt much safer there , saw s couple that open carry , what a relief !¡!¡!
