Aftermath of controversial gunfire tragedy and ensuing conviction. Take a look:

Second of four men sentenced to life in prison for Shawnee gun store owner's murder

SHAWNEE, Kan. -- Hakeem Malik, 21, was sentenced Friday to life in prison, eligible for parole after 25 years, for the murder of 'She's A Pistol' gun shop owner Jon Bieker in January 2015. In May, Malik pleaded guilty to the charges; part of his plea agreement included a sentence recommendation of a "Hard 25" like one of his co-conspirators received.

  1. Hard for life, no parole ever would have been a better sentence.

  3. At that point, why a life sentence? With or without parole? This thug will never be reformed, will never contribute an ounce of good to society, will never be a positive influence in any life, young to old. Why do we not simply bring back the death penalty and execute it without the 20 years on death row crap. Bring back public hangings every quarter. Force all prisoners and juvey kids to watch. Let them know that the thug life is no longer some glamorous achievement that they currently strive for. With that, we could very likely turn around the ghetto culture from the deep dark into which they fly like a bat into hell.

  4. Why the hell is a plea deal required on a case like this? Fucking lazy ass politician County Attorney. I guess Black Lies really do matter a lot more.

  6. Crims like this cost so very much to so very many. A highly productive biz owner lost his life at an early age. A man and wife had a family biz stolen from them. Employees, vendors, clients, tax collectors, and financial firms, and more had earnings stolen from them.

Death sentences carried out rapidly would keep some of the losses lowered, because no hots and no cots are being paid for along with appointed attorneys fees, and free medical and dental at state or federal expense.

  9. 7:27 Yo can't get a black convicted in Kansas City of ANYTHING.

    Brandon Howell will get off.

  10. We will never eliminate black crime until we eliminate white libtards.

  11. First, Brandon Howell will have to be actually tried. Then, he too will probably walk free. This particular baboon, needs to be confined to a black college, for as long as possible.

  13. Free food, clothes, room and board as a consolation prize for being dumb enough to try to rob a gun store, and armed people? Don't be surprised when it doesn't deter anyone from robbing again and again. This one won't rob anyone outside of prison for at least a little while is the only good news, the bad news is there is plenty more outside the walls that will.

  14. Hang him. Hang them all. Save the taxpayer's the expense of taking care of them.

Have to be an idiot to rob a gun store.
