TKC MUST SEE!!! FORMER JOCO CONGRESSMAN DENNIS MOORE AND WIFE STEPHENE TALK ALZHEIMER'S CARE!!!

A brave and powerful confessional from one-time local political power brokers. Take a look:

"Former Congressman Dennis Moore of Lenexa has been very open about his Alzheimer's disease diagnosis. His wife, Stephene, right, is one of many Alzheimer's caregivers in the metropolitan area. This video examines the Moore's and others' personal experiences with the disease."

Take a look:

Candidates never remember peoples names, they have aides who trail alongside to give them the person's name just before they shake their hand. So he should be good to go for another election.

Alz is a terrible thing. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

He can't have much time to go. Hell he had symptoms when he was in congress introducing that nutty assed legislation he kept pushing.

I'm sorry Dennis Moore has Alzheimers.
That said, Stephene tells a huge lie at 1:55 the beginning of her section of this video:
"We've never tried to hide this."

Oh yes you two did. When Dennis ran for re-election. It was widely known by the MSM, and unreported. It was clearly evident as individuals tried to speak with him at public events. He'd pull out his pocketful of photos and start telling about them, to Brian Newby, the shocked Joco election commissioner who had just met with him for 20 minutes! Dennis was unable to drive a car because he kept getting lost. Unable to navigate through the halls of Congress or a restaurant without a guide.

You stood him up like a puppet and sent him out to run for re-election, to keep your income, and to keep a Dem in Congress, because your committee and your party failed to vet a replacement, even sending YOU out to run. When you were a retired nurse with zero experience in government. And still you held to the lie. For shame.

That was wrong, Stephene. Deceiving the public! You can't send a man to Congress who does not know who he is, or who he spoke to or what was said. It's DANGEROUS, legally.

And members of your family who DID try to talk about it were shunned, and the rest of your family lied to the press when asked directly, by Mahoney or Ketz or KMBZ. Dennis was no longer fit for office and you covered it up.

Sorry to call you out, Stephene, and sorry to destroy your narrative as victims. I like both of you as people, but this lie is over the top. And it's not right for the ALZ assn. to feature you as poster kids for "telling the truth". Because you did just the opposite, for personal gain and pride. A disservice and a bad example for other ALZ families.

Sidie 2018!

Tracy Thomas said...

4:54--the differences between Dennis Moore and Jay Sidie are:
Sidie is a chronic liar who has NOT lost his memory of the facts and the law, including the requirement that if you manage 15 or more investment clients, one must be REGISTERED as an investment advisor.

And unlike Dennis, who had a lifelong history of public service from the JCCC Board and Johnson County DA, Sidie is not an active party member, not a public servant in any sense, wants to catapult to WDC for the power lust. And I don't think he was even a regular voter till he filed last time!

Yoder is doing a good job, serves on the powerful House Appropriations Committee, has great constituent service, well-liked and smart. Stick with that. Because when Dennis Moore was in office, the only thing that Democrat ever got thru Congress was naming a post office.
