Sporting Kansas City will conduct a formal ceremony to honor Neal Patterson at Children's Mercy Park before Tuesday night's 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals against FC Dallas. Patterson died of cancer Sunday. He was one of five owners of Sporting Club, the Kansas City-based entity that acquired Sporting Kansas City (then the Kansas City Wizards) from Lamar Hunt and Hunt Sports Group in 2006.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A sign posted along I-29 has been getting a lot of attention recently due to a misspelling, and MoDot Kansas City says they're aware of the error and working to fix it. MoDOT says the misspelling will be corrected soon, and they hope people pay this much attention to other signs posted along the road.

So that everyone will be totally safe and secure we are spending billions across America to force states to comply with the real ID act. ...and fifteen minutes after we waste the money some fucking terrorist group will counterfeit all the IDs anyone could possibly want. What a brilliant expenditure of tax payer money. I wonder how many bureaucratic jobs are directly related to this conversion under the guise that they are actually accomplishing something. Your tax dollars at work.
