Shots fired after Shawnee residents try to stop suspects from stealing car
Police are investigating after residents of Shawnee, Kansas tried to stop people from stealing a car and shots were fired. Officers went to the 11900 block of W. 49 th Street around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday to investigate an attempted auto theft that led to 5 to 6 shots being fired after people tried to intervene.
