UPDATE: Moody's downgrades UM's credit outlook to 'negative'

COLUMBIA - Moody's Investors Service lowered the University of Missouri System's credit rating outlook from stable to negative, the service announced Friday morning. The system retained its Aa1 grade, which means obligations are high-quality and low-risk, according to Moody's website. An Aa1 rating is the second-highest rating an institution can receive from Moody's.
