Residents named heroes after rescuing handicapped man from KCMO house fire
A Kansas City Fire Department Battalion Chief is calling two people heroes after they rescued a handicapped person from a house fire early Wednesday morning. The fire happened about 2 a.m. at a home near 37th Street and Wayne Avenue. KCFD Battalion Chief Kevin Hunt says two people living at the home rescued a third, handicapped resident.
