Over the weekend our blog community called out an unfair bit of vote rigging intended to destroy local Democracy to benefit consultants, lawyers and real estate developers. And then a few days later, local news broadcasts a bit of cheer-leading hype on the topic:
Streetcar ballots require notarization, here's where to go
Ballots for a special election regarding the expansion of the Kansas City street car were mailed out last Tuesday. Voters may be surprised that the ballots require notarization, but some groups are trying to make the process as easy as possible.

ReplyDeleteTrolley boy Davey is a liar. They didn't go for a mail in ballot because it is cheaper, they went for it to suppress participation like they did with the initial streetcar vote. When it goes on a regular ballot it gets voted down like in August 2015.
ReplyDeleteNot many property owners will vote for new taxes. But the renters that are registered voters will vote for the toy train. COME ON AND TAKE A FREE RIDE.
