TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY TAX FIGHTERS NOW ARMED WITH BIG BUCKS!!!

Quick note for Sunday about the ongoing battle over development and representation . . .

KANSAS CITY CITIZENS FOR RESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT JUST EARNED AN EPIC CHECK FOR $25K FROM JOHNSON COUNTY ACTIVIST PHIL KLEIN!!!

$25,500 to be exact . . . It's an impressive sum and know we know how they're paying for all of those billboards amid the streetcar debate.

We report this in fairness and because those silly anti-Go bond commercials that the newspaper deemed racist were also powered by this JoCo political denizen and they ultimately didn't prove very effective.

And so, for voters, this news should mean that the struggle over the streetcar, the downtown hotel and the upcoming airport will continue as more cash coming into the fight on both sides powers the debate.

Developing . . .

Thank the lord somebody finally stood up. The rest of these anti City Hall pundits only talk. They don't provide any financial support just bull shit. Kudos for Phil's attempt to hold City Hall and the crooks there accountable... It's about time. Where is Rex?

^^^ Stay in Johnson Country Tracy. You have no business participating in KC politics. You are out of your league and you're embarrassing yourself.

Listen dickbreath, the "good folk " of KCMO would not have a fucking thing without JOCO's participation. Where do you think the Heavies in this area live?

@7:40pm
Yes, KCMO is certainly in a league of its own.
An amateur league where the electeds regularly come out of negotiations with developers and their attorneys wearing nothing but big smiles and their socks.
What's the TOTAL tax giveaways these bozos have accumulated during Sly's tenure?
Hundreds of millions of tax dollars that won't be available to pay for actual city services for decades, if ever.
And the earnings tax, highest sales taxes in the region, property taxes increasing over 20 years, and water bills that now run $100 a month.
Management by D-list celebrity wannabes who couldn't run a two-car garage.
A league of their own!

7:40, then you don't think free speech should apply to me, either, so let the personal attacks continue, but Tracy's right. No matter how much money he has giving &25,500 is no small matter. It shows how much he believes in this cause.

You haven't earned free speech thief^^^^^

Odd how all the anti-city groups are lead and funded by people from out of town.

Phil Klein has given thousands to keep the wolves at bay over the years. Again Thanks.
