TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY POLICE WARN OF WHITE GUY DOG WALKING MURDER TREND AT INDIAN CREEK TRAIL!!!

Advice from police and acknowledgement of a horrific trend offer an important glimpse of deadly violence threatening Kansas City neighborhoods.

Earlier this week, the clueless newspaper assured residents that the Indian Creek Greenway Trail was safe despite the murdered corpse of a beloved bar owner discovered this week . . .

However . . .

NOW AUTHORITIES WARN OF HOMICIDES TARGETING OLD SCHOOL WHITE DUDES WALKING THEIR DOGS ALONG INDIAN CREEK TRAIL!!!

What's important is to talk public safety and a clear warning about the demographics of the victims targeted. KCPD does an EXCELLENT JOB in noting as much and working to protect the public while the newspaper fails to show concern for public safety for ALL local residents.

Here's the word:

KCPD: Indian Creek Trail Homicides

Since August 2016, there have been four homicides along the Indian Creek Trail in south Kansas City, MO.

There are obvious similarities in the four homicides in that all of the victims are white males between the ages of 54 and 67. Three of the males were walking their dogs on the Indian Creek Trail, or in close proximity to the trail.

Detectives are aware of the similarities and are actively investigating all four of the homicides. At this time, there is no physical evidence that suggests these cases are related but the possibility is being reviewed.

KCPD would like to remind our community to always remain aware of your surroundings and immediately report any suspicious persons and behavior. If you observe or encounter someone who is acting strangely or is exhibiting suspicious behavior do not hesitate to call POLICE.

Please note, officers will be conducting extra patrol in the area to include patrolling on foot and ATVs.

Anyone with information is asked to call POLICE or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.

  1. Kansas City is literally killing a lot of the people who helped build this town.

Really bad news for the future of KCMO.

Thanks to police and media who are being honest about this danger.

  4. 6:06 Let's meet up! We could view the Rushing rain waters along 104st then grab a bite to eat nearby. We could take the dogs out for a romp first then order to-go. See you on the Trail near Jasper's in about an hour.

  6. 5:36 A little levity's cool, yeah, I'll admit I laughed.

Dang, KillaCity sux on with the violence FUBAR. I'll check out tonight's segment at 10pm on KCTV5, featuring "Troubling Trend". C'mon Sly get as passionate and vocal for the very lives of your constituents as you've been for campaign contributors to get enriched. After the talk, do the walk. More patrol cops, lotsa cameras, no puny pleas for crims, and longer incarcerations for all violence.

  7. My sympathies to his family. He was a great guy, and Coach's is one of my favorite dives. This is really heartbreaking. It has good food and an older crowd who is well behaved.
There are a lot of homeless hanging around Indian Creek, and it has been a problem for all of us who live nearby or patronize the businesses along 103rd. If you see someone begging around 103rd and State Line, please do not give them money, food or anything else. These are not people down on their luck. They have been offered all kinds of help by Kansas City and various charities to get off the streets. I know that they have been offered decent housing, nutritional food, and a chance to start over. Nobody wants them there. I am not accusing them of being responsible, but the community there has been growing despite offers to help them get on their feet. They just don't belong in that neighborhood, and tolerance of them may have attracted a killer.

  8. Very sad a person can't walk their dog in a park without fear of being assaulted or murdered. All the parks and trails in the Kansas City area (Johnson County, KS included) are nothing but trouble waiting to happen. In Kansas City there are MILES of uncharted, mapped trails the KCPD knows nothing about, but is working on mapping those trails and patrolling them a few times a week. This was from a member of the KCPD at a fairly recent 5th district meeting.

Might have been African-Americans that did the deed this time in JOCO, but rest assured there are plenty of no goodniks that are white. No wonder there are so many folks that arm themselves in hopes to protect themselves from the evil in this not so fair city.

  9. More Kc killing but most of the "leaders" seem to be more concerned with securing their contacts.

  10. @ 6:49 PM. And where do these homeless vagrants belong? Just because it's close to precious Johnson County? Lots of "those people" everywhere. Some are just bent on malicious mischief, some just don't want anything to do with social structure and "normal behavior" Some are mentally challenged.

I do understand that folks in this area are unhappy with "these people" I, no doubt would also be unhappy with the situation. It would be wonderful if there was a magic solution to this problem, so good decent people could take their dog for a nice walk in a park and feel safe and that the homeowners in the surrounding areas could feel at ease.

  11. What the heck were the dogs doing while strangers killed their owners? Sniffing each others' butts? "Man's best friend" failed to live up to their name.

    1. Bob, the reports on teevee say Darby walked his 2 black labs daily. And, haven't ya heard the one about Labs. They're the docile and friendly breed.

It goes something like: A burglar breaks into a home where a labrador retreiver lives. The lab doesn't even bark, wags his tail, pours the robber a beer, and fetches the slippers.

  12. I jog these trails and never ever Foget to bring my little 380,loaded with hollow points. Ya it's a pea shooter but I need something light to carry when I'm jogging/walking,plus any confrontation that may happen will be up close & personal, so it will more than suffice
RIP to all four of these poor guys.real fucking shame when you get killed, minding your own business just walking your fucking dogs.I'm sincerely pissed and bout had enough of this goddamned town

  14. It was my privilege and honor, to work, as a contractor for Mike Darby and his family over the last 20 years.

    What a great family.

    What a stand up guy.

I met Mike and Billy in 1974 after the service, working for Vic Fontanna at Walter Mittys.

This is a great, wonderful, beautiful American Family full of love, optimism and community service. Mike always, ALWAYS thought of others, his employees, his contractors (me), his friends, everyone before he thought of himself and he proved this again, and again and again.

Let's make sure, we are clear. This guy was a stand up guy. He will be so, so, so missed by us all.

God bless you Mike and God Bless your family.

We all love you and pray for you and your family.

  19. So many good memories of Coach's early days, and before, when that was Murphy's place. Brothers III (facing Wornall where QT is now) was another fun spot, and that Boots & Coats bar (where the Broome dealership is now) had real good martinis. The P.I. I worked for (as his courier, sometimes driver, bookkeeper, and such) between my day hours at Bendix leased an office (inside another business his family owned) near Coach's in the mid 80's. His wife, or he, often brought carryouts on weekends from Coach's or Waid's.
