Prez Trump H1-B Visa Crackdown Impacts Kansas City Area Indian Community

Another angle of the immigration debate as it relates to hiring and the local economy . . .

Take a look:

VOA News: "President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order aimed at making it harder for companies to hire skilled foreign workers under the H1-B visa program. Indians are overwhelmingly the biggest holders of H1-B visas, and the order has reverberated through Indian communities around the country. Esha Sarai reports from the community in Kansas City."

  2. Similar to ILLEGAL immigration, it's not about advocating for a different law or standard, it's about enforcing the EXISTING laws and standards. The regulations around the H1-B program clearly state that it is to be used for highly skilled workers FOR WHICH THER ARE NOT SUFFICENT EXISTING US CITIZENS TO ACCOMODATE DEMAND AND FOR WHICH COMPENSATION IS MADE SIMILARLY. The fact that US companies have been abusing the system for the sole purpose of importing cheaper foreign workers doesn't make the renewed interest in actually enforcing the regulations a bad thing, it means that we are (maybe) going to finally operate the system as it was designed by congress.

...and it's not the H1-B worker's fault, they're simply chasing the greatest opportunity that presents itself, it the responsibility of the corporations who knowing sabotage our internal labor market for their sole financial benefit.

  3. If there is a law breaker out there you will find a Democrat pandering to them.
