One person was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Swope Park. Dispatch confirms that call came in at 9:00 p.m. Sunday. The incident happened in the area of Meyer and Swope near the bandstand. One person has life-threatening injuries. No suspect information is available at this time.

Toot Toot! All Aboard!!!

Hundreds of people had to walk from the Sprint Center to their vehicles several blocks away. It appeared no buses were provided.

KMBC 9 News has reached out to streetcar authorities to find out why it was shut down for scheduled maintenance on a night when thousands of people were downtown for a major concert.

Bullshit! Anyone who went through 2008 lost their ass via their retirement 401Ks and investments. No one bailed our asses out with handouts. Fuck these Union moochers. Do like the rest of us and start holding doors at the local Walmart.
