More than 1 million passengers arrived and departed through Kansas City International Airport's gates in March, the airport's 35th consecutive month of passenger growth and its busiest March since 2001. According to the Kansas City Aviation Department, the 1,005,082 passengers in March represented an 11.1 percent increase from March 2016.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City-area woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after she was spotted driving in the Northland with a gas hose attached to her gas tank. A Clay County sheriff's spokesman said that around 1:30 a.m., a deputy was passed by a woman who was driving an SUV that had sparks coming from the vehicle.
