It goes on to urge the Mayor to support “sensible gun regulation at the state and national level.” As we’ve noted before, the last part of that is worded very carefully so that anyone in disagreement is branded a whackadoo right wing extremist."

It's far easier to blame guns than to blame an entire culture that far too many black Americans embrace and is expanding rapidly in white America.

DeleteA letter to the ed in the Sunday star literally stated that gun violence in the urban core could be reduced by not using, ahem, "loaded" words and phrases by the white part of the community. Phrases like "silver bullet", "under the gun", "take a shot". Not kidding, the gal said if white people would stop using these words then black people (well, inner City denizens) would reduce gun violence. Whoa, mind blown! (oops)
