Public service info and links to more deets about one of our most controversial forms of taxation.
Take a peek:
KCMO.GOV: Tuesday is the deadline to pay your earnings tax
Deets:
"The earnings tax (sometimes referred to as “e-tax”) is a one percent tax on an individual’s earned income such as salaries, wages, commissions, tips and other compensation. The due date for paying this year’s e-tax is April 18. You can file online.
"The earnings tax generates revenue that pays for a wide variety of basic City services used by all those who live and work in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to helping fund basic city services such as repairing roads and weekly trash collection, the revenue from the earnings tax also pays for police officers, fire fighters, paramedics and ambulance services."
Developing . . .
Another reason NOT to do business in KC.
ReplyDeleteKc will never stop bleeding residents. 1 billion more is not enough.
ReplyDeleteI will never pay that illegal tax. Make me a test case.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't people who live in apartments, and pay earnings tax, get weekly trash collection?
ReplyDeleteAnother reason to sell and move
ReplyDelete^^^ +1
ReplyDeleteSly has been a good mayor. Haters should BACK OFF! He's doing much bigger and better things than most of you loosers could ever hope.
ReplyDelete^^^^^Give me the 800 million and I'll show you it put to better uses in this town and for damn sure not wasted on any fucking street car or new airport. It appears like you're doing way to many drugs to even think he has been a good mayor.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteMiranda... Where on here do you see HATERS? Just because someone is opposed to the earnings tax or with what Sly James is doing doesn't make them a HATER.
But if you want to talk about the Mayor doing a good job why don't you list some of the things he has been doing, and maybe you should spend more time learning how to spell.
PUT UP OR SHUT UP
The E-tax helps fund such basics as a new headquarters for Burns & Mac, subsidizing CBIZ move back to the Plaza after their KS subsidies expired, Cerner's new digs and soon a new hotel owned by political insiders. Makes me proud to think of the thousands I paid to help fund these worthwhile projects.
ReplyDeleteAs well you should plebe.^^^^ Don't you understand that corporations are people too? You don't get to decide what to do with your taxes. You have a choice...move if you don't like it, or pony up and shut up. All of these little bitches moaning about their taxes is so pedestrian. Grow up people. Taxes area way of life.
ReplyDeleteMove? This is the only fucking state in the union where the city is out collecting taxes from non residents - Non residents who already paid Federal and State taxes that are being wasted by the city, I might add.
ReplyDelete^^^So what? What are you prepared to do about it?...Nothing. That's what I thought. Don't fucking come into the city problem solved. Stop bitching about your taxes.
ReplyDeleteTypical Degenerate Communist Liberals always stealing peoples money thru phony bullshit TAXES that never go where their supposed to go, just more lies from Commie Sly James and company !!!
ReplyDelete12:58 You better get a bigger set of balls before you start telling anyone what to bitch about . Tony clone.....
ReplyDelete^^Or what? What are you prepared to do about it bitch boy? Bounce troll.
