City Hall Cycles Toward More Kansas City Bike Friendly River Market Toy Train Access

Even more feel-good legislation from Kansas City cycling advocates that does't help very many people at all given that scientists have yet to find a way to harness their sense of self-satisfaction. Take a look:

More bike parking at the City Market - KCBike.Info

New hoop-style racks at three locations around the market have capacity for 16 bikes: The main entrance to the circle drive at 5th and Walnut, the north service drive on 3rd Street, and the northwest entrance from City Market Park and 3rd Street. Please be sure to use these racks when you visit the market.

Any effort to encourage bicyclist to visit River Market is seriously misguided. Trolley tracks are very dangerous for bikers and there are no safe east-west streets in the area.

It's time to start licensing bicycles!

Its time to start licensing automobiles based on their width.
It's time to charge health insurance premiums based on the size of peoples ass.

Might as well announce the IPO for Riverfront Rickshaws, River Market Rickys, or whatnot. When KC's debt bomb bursts, causing the TooT LooT tracks to sit idle--fewer who can afford cars--full employment numbers drastically lower--and new jobs need to be created, the industrious cyclists are likely gonna be the busy two wheeled taxi drivers. Oh, yeah, Al, Leo, and all the greenies will be so impressed.

i would not mind bike riders so much if they were not so damed arragont and think they owned the road.
