TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! KANSAS CITY PARKING HOT MESS WORSENS!!!

MSM follow-up on a trend we've been blogging for months . . . Take a peek at the Kansas City war on drivers that continues to chase away biz from Downtown and throughout the loop: Stealing spaces: Kansas City parking problems exposed

  1. Start charging for parking. Put parking meters in to get the cars moving in and out and not camped out all day long.
City is missing another great revenue source here.
People that work down there are going to have to find alternatives. Might have to walk a few blocks.

  2. I know what I'm doing. I'm no longer spending my money at any business that I know is doing this illegal shit. Thanks for letting me know about several of them, including one where I (used to) spend several thousand dollars a year.

This can only happen in a fucked-up city where the cops and politicians are totally lazy and totally corrupt. But you knew that.

  3. Yes it's exploding alright. And at some point inevitably all the shit will need to be dealt with.

  4. First off, the picture that headlines this story is for parking in a private lot. I can only speak for one business in that story and it is total BS because the fact is an application the city provided was processed. They changed the signage to "loading zone" for the specific reason of providing limited space for said reason.

Another hack job from a so called journalist right out of school trying to make a name for herself.

  5. Hilly, Al, and Leo hate on nasty ol' climate changer carbons, so their Dem buds of KC should too, huh?
Dump stinky cars and get those hand-carved hitchin' posts, artisinal water troughs, and bio-sustainable horseshoe shops installed in cowtown KC now. GIDDY'UP y'all ! ! !

  6. If KC will give me a 20 jillion dollar, 35 year tax abatement I will build a parking garage or two.

I just do the park and ride, bus and Street Car when I patronize downtown. No one will mess with me because everyone, even TKC
Bloggers, has universal respect for me.
