KSHB: Police investigating after KC Streetcar window damaged
Deets:
"Officers were dispatched to the area of Pershing and Main just after 3 p.m. Tuesday. The operator of the streetcar told police that one of the passengers alerted them that the streetcar was damaged. Police said one of the windows was shattered but still intact from an undetermined object."
This is the second time the streetcar has suffered hobo damage and this altercation with one of the Kansas City homeless will put this particular trolley out of commission for awhile.
As usual, the TKC blog community suspects brick throwing criminal Ernest T. Bass. Mr. Bass proved a menace to the streets of Mayberry and now it's clear that he is causing havoc in Kansas City.
More to the point . . . Clearing out hobo camps near downtown has only seemed to make this population even more disturbed as panhandlers, vagrants and the truly disenfranchised offer a cruel reality check for Kansas City development schemes.

SCS here. Ive seen a homeless guy brought off the train one time. I think it was drugs or something. Most of the time they keep to themselves, but sooner or later...
ReplyDeleteOne night I heard a guy being all loud trying to lecture people about trump. I should have bankrupted his wit right then and there, but I didnt feel like having to eventually fight a nigga that night. So I let it go.
The street car security is handled by off duty officers in uniform who are pretty cool to talk to. The other security in yellow jackets is cool, but they dont seem to be happy working for the private security company the developers hired to walk the downtown streets.
