One of my main goals as chief of police is to improve relationships between KCPD and other segments of the community. We are working toward that every day. To be fair, THE CHIEF HAS NOT GIVEN ANY INDICATION THAT HE'S LEAVING . . . However, over the past few months he has scaled back his social media presence and curtailed his interviews following push back over controversial comments.
