Newsflash: Kansas City Winning Over STL!!!

They call it "date driven journalism" but there's really no surprise or insight in this fun fact that confirms what most people in Missouri have known since the days of the Ferguson riots. You decide:

While Kansas City area grows, St. Louis slows, or so census shows

The Kansas City metro area continues to grow, while the St. Louis metro area lost population in the last year. The St. Louis metro's population declined by 1,328 from 2015 to 2016, according to the latest migration estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.

  1. A word of caution. Census bureau migration estimates are hypothetical based on traditional migration patters so Ferguson would have no scientific influence on the census predictions - except that it has been pointed out by more than one politicians that politics seems to play a huge role is slanting census data with little to no scientific data to back up the bureaucratic product. Just sayin.....

They Census Bureau also does the same thing in trying to define race. According to the government Hispanic is not a race classification. Therefore it would be impossible for either Hispanics or Caucasians to be racially biased against each other because race is a non factor. What complicates this is that American Indians are defined as a race and we know that the majority of Mexicans are primarily genetically part Aztec and part Caucasian. Additinmally there is a laege percentage of Hispanics who are primarily black. Of course we can take it a step further because 99 percent of everyone in the U.S. is fucking mutt and "purebred" populations in the world will pretty much cease to exist over the next 30 years. Perhaps it is the government which should stop being racist and just drop the labels altogether.
