They don't want an open and honest conversation. Make a scene and they kick you out. We've seen how you operate. We'd fight for you but don't want to get stabbed in the back or slapped in the face for doing it. You can use a sword as a cane or walking stick. It is still a sword.

Maybe they could write cards to prisoners saying "I'm sorry you got caught breaking the law. I hope you get paroled soon."

Do they have any idea that some of those cards will be read by men who want to kill them?

I'm all for help my fellow man, women or child.

But how about we fix whats wrong with this country first before we go spending effort dealing with all the other issues of the world.

When our service vets and elderly are living and lacking proper medical care and housing while these so called refugees and poor immigrants are getting better housing and medical care I have a tendency to want to yell out in rage at seeing this done while ignoring those in need in our own country.

When was the last time the Kansas City Public Library did the same for people born and raised here in Kansas City?

I'm waiting, show me the dates?

Why not send postcards to murders in local state and federal prisons as well? what a fucking mess Kansas City is, the article below it should be about what other homeless tent city is next to be destroyed.

No, there are things as a costumer we could do to help make our voices heard with our concerns for the libraries. Internally they would give flack. We have lots of ideas, but they won't listen to us. They know it all.

More of your money being wasted. New computer system, new programs that don't work but its only your money. How did such a bunch of incompetent, we don't care about our public that we are supposed to service, take over the library system?
