Kansas City East Crossroads Hope: Mardi Gras Parade Marches Through 18th & Vine

Just a quick peek at a trend worth mentioning . . .

Yes, the Kansas City hipster Mardi Gras parade is a longstanding tradition . . . Yes, they've marched at night before through the years.

However . . . This time, amid warmer weather . . . Kansas City hipsters celebrated an unsanctioned parade at night and walked from The Crossroads to 18th & Vine.

This is an important celebration to at least mention because, as usual, there wasn't a single instance of violence or trouble . . . Not even many noise complaints.

Whilst the financial development games amid the "East Crossroads" deserve skepticism . . . Consider this parade of AT LEAST 200 PEOPLE through urban core streets a proof of concept.

You decide . . .

Did they get lost and end up at 18th & Vine.
Didn't think anyone went there on purpose. The fact that there were no incidents lends credence to that idea.
