Developers always think they have the answer to everything. For the most part, they are the ones who get paid off first and are never around when failure strikes or face any financial loss.

sorry, but it seems obvious that adding more urban residents at these locations would help stabilize the whole area.

mixed use sounds great.

if the area isn't stabilized by advancing to higher density residential living, it'll remain vulnerable to decline.

look at how big cities work.

Westport has become a dangerous and unsightly slum. it's a pretty horrible place at night, and increasingly in the daytime. Kansas City people are so delusional.

There'll be 2 murders in Westport before Labor Day.

Great editorial from NE News. Wish the Star would write more relevant content like this. They seem content to let the city go to the developer class.

People still go to Westport? They muse be very brave or very stupid.

Sorry, Bushnell. We don't want our neighborhood to look like northeast. There a reason people want to live in Westport.
Enjoy your burned out houses and vacant lots. Meanwhile, when you and the east spiders are crying about how you dont get any attention from city hall, remember it's because you think change is scary.
