ReplyDelete7:36 and 7:52, this phenomenon is not limited to Kansas City. I read about similar stories in lots of other places, the most recent being the Port Authority in NJ & NY. And, while the practice sounds at first blush like a scam, the person getting the money did the extra work time and earned it.

Yeah, well, KC's $200K to fd is getting more for their money than all that jack getting tossed away to the Glock The Block. KCowtown is copycat Chicago with too many shootings. Free street parties aren't cutting KC's violent crime, so good emergency responders (FD, EMT, and PD) are vital.
ReplyDeleteThe deferred Maintenance of the Roads, Sidewalks, Bridges and Water System is the biggest scam of all. Where has this money gone? This represents years of neglect, incompetence and corruption in the Council. These folks need to look at the needs of the whole city and not just their own.

Remember all her crack cocaine Fiasco's and tantrums at city hall, and typical cries of supposed racism, attempting to play the wore out race card,, because she got caught several times for all kinds of things
