Demolition Crews Pull Down Paseo Motel To Make Way For Revitalization Project

Demolition crews are pulling down an old motel that stands on a major gateway into Kansas City. The demolition of the vacant Royale Inn, on the corner of Independence Avenue and the Paseo, is an important step in the Paseo Gateway revitalization project.

  3. The fate of the "no-tell" motel was sealed by two developments:

    First, many older teens just sleep over at their boy/girl friend's house (assuming that parents are smart enough to allow that safe option). Or, if both parents work... afterschool advanced biology study.

    Second, Super 8 actually cleans the sheets and the shower between renters -- making both fornication and/or adultery a cleaner, more high-class activity that the Royale did.
