CELEBRATE KANSAS CITY BUS RIDERZ!!!

The takeaway from this important clip is that the Kansas City's bus is much better at moving people than the far more expensive toy train street.

  1. The Toy Train doesn't go anywhere, and if there is a breakdown or blockage on the tracks, everyone is stuck. Buses have flexibility and extra buses can be dispatched if a breakdown occurs. If you want to go to a Royals or Chiefs game, you drive. If you want to go to the KC Zoo, you drive. If you want to go to the Plaza or Westport, you drive. Sometimes you can catch a bus if you live close to one of the major lines. Has anyone at the KCATA done a study on where people need or want to go? That would be my first step in deciding where to pour money into the transportation system.
