However, no one cares or donate funds to fight the weekely shootings and murders a few miles away that take place in Kansas City, MO. and Kansas City, KS. Activist, Alonzo Washington has been a one man crime fighting machine helping local law enforcement solve murders, capture fugitives and increase tips. He is now reaching out to the world to request donations of cash to help him gain more tips in his war on crime to bring crime victims justice . . ."

I don't disagree with the idea, but I do disagree with who will run it. And this is nothing new. Crime Stoppers has been doing this 1982 and paid out over a million dollars in rewards for tips. It's ran by forty volunteer members on a board who look after it.
ReplyDeleteI see this only as a way for Alonzo to better his income unless he comes up with a group of honorable volunteer members to do the same here as the current Crime Stoppers does. I doubt we see that.

ReplyDeleteTKC, tell this dumb ass no one wants to donate to people that refuse to do anything to change their communities. Crime is getting worse and very few people are willing to stand up in these crime ridden areas and take a stand, they sure won't cooperate with the police to stop the criminals.
PLUS, if they were to donate every time there was a violent crime we'd be broke.
What happened in Olathe was an anomaly (look it up Alonzo) and it was a targeted hate crime.
This was not hoodrats killing hoodrats, that is the difference. And people do donate to crime victims in the urban areas typically when it's innocent kids.

All his friends/followers are all white or educated blacks. If he really wanted tips on these inner city violent crimes he needs to be asking his socalled 'hoodnet' and not white folks on FB. The difference in olathe is whites dont clam up when it comes to murder the cops new the shooter within minutes. If that had happened in a hood bar then nobody seen nuthin.
