100 UMKC KANGAROOS ON PARADE AGAINST ALLEGED KANSAS CITY ILLEGAL ALIEN DORM RAPE & ADMIN RESPONSE!!!

Another look at the protest against City College policy . . . UMKC students rally against response to reported rape

  1. My sympathy to this victim and all others who have experienced assault. I hope that young women (and men) realize that drinking to the point of passing out puts them at risk for violence. An intoxicated person has no control over the situation at that point. UMKC needs to step up their security measures at Johnson Hall as well as the other student residences. I wish the protesters luck dealing with the administration. Sometimes they are all talk and no action.

While drinking till you lose all control I guess isn't really against the law. But the law should as well make you responsible for your own actions while out of control.

If this woman had killed someone, should she later be able to say I was so drunk I had no idea what I was doing and be excused from her actions.

    No!

  7. SJW protests with absurd demands about being able to fire administrators notwithstanding, UMKC is at fault in this case. They failed to follow their 24 hour locked door policy and their own rules regarding intoxicated residents unable to walk themselves to their room.

  9. This is why there will never be real equality in America, Because there will never be equal accountability. This broad get shit faces out of her gourd, lets the guy in, crawls in the rack with him and then how convenient that she can not accept that she fucked up and he should do 30 years in the slammer because he was shit faced just like her. Is this broad responsible for nothing? This isn't a victim. This is a freaking volunteer. Yes the situation was unfortunate, but woman up here and accept that you were a fucking dumb ass for being blown away and somehow thinking his being blown away too was going to equal a rational encounter. This is two birds of a feather. Stop screaming rape, stop with the denial and get help with your drunken booze problem. Stop thinking someone should do hard time when you were just as fucking ignorant and stupid as he was.

  10. I continue to wonder, are college administrators born without backbones, or do they have them surgically removed in order to qualify for the position? The UMKC official quoted in the story should have told the brats to vacate his office within 5 minutes or he'd have them all arrested for trespass, and if they really want a meeting to make an appointment for one. Instead, he slobbered all over himself apologizing.

  11. So, gal goes to Lawrence to party with a guy and two friends. He apparently takes her back to HER dorm -- where he is alleged to have had sex with her while she was unconscious, which (if true) would qualify as rape. He is arrested & charged.

Here is what I do not understand: Why would there need to be a campus-wide alert when there was no danger to be alerted about? The person alleged to have commited the crime was not at large. Are these guys upset because they did not get to raise a ruckus for no good reason? And do they want students to be prohibited from going to KU to party or from bringing friends into their dorm? This guy spent the night there with the gal -- and two of her friends in the same dorm room, who watched them having sex!

Rape is a seriousl crime -- and is being seriously addressed by the criminal justice system, as it should be.
