Here's the best recap of a recent talk. Take a look:
KCTV5: "One police officer is killed in America every 58 hours.” That was how the Kansas City Police Department Chief Darryl Forte opened his speech at the 56th annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. He didn't hold back when it came to talking about violence against police officers, his relationship with the community and race."
You decide . . .
Forte is a failure. He will now play the race card. Why won't he admit his brothers are the problem?

Cops are not even in the top ten...... Sorry Forte.
Put on the uniform and hit the streets then....you should be perfectly safe.
Deleteok, but does he have a plan, or just speeches?
ReplyDeleteHe has twitter.
ReplyDeleteHe will tweet away crime.
FORTE is under attack for failing to make an improvement in the KC homicide/crime rate.
ReplyDeleteAs he feels the pressure, he increasingly resorts to "race" and "victim" mentality, in an effort to quiet his critics.
Meanwhile, the city of KCMO is going bankrupt due to it's failure to rein in public safety (police/fire) budgets.
An effective KCPD Chief quietly works behind the scene as an effective administrator. They have a public communications staff to interact with the media. They're not on Twitter and they don't ride around on a motorcycle to crime scenes. They just get the job done efficiently and let their staff and department receive the attention.
Hey Forte. Stop tweeting. Stop yapping about race as if it were the only issue. Maybe do something about crime and take some responsibility as a leader? Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteIf he does that he'll be the only one out there unless he is at a QT or Krispy Kreme.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is no one has any confidence in the pd's media department.
ReplyDeleteat least no one on the pd.
The chief is on his way out. I think he's just trying to get a book deal.
ReplyDeleteGood job Chief. Keep up the good work.We appreciate you.
ReplyDeleteEven with the rising crime rate, ineffectual leadership, and strangely poor facial hair choices.
DeleteHe almost as worthless as Corwin.
ReplyDeleteDude is finished. When Harvey and his crew gets indicted the department will show just how poorly run it's been.
ReplyDeleteIf we had made Rin-Tin-Tin Chief KC would have already been cleaned up.
