TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY WATER SERVICES CREATES ANOTHER CARTOON HYPE CAMPAIGN AMID RISING TIDE OF CONSUMER COST COMPLAINTS!!!

Kansas City is currently filled to the brim with anger about costly water bills.

To wit . . .

ANOTHER CARTOON PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGN HOPES TO CREATE GOODWILL DESPITE ANGER OVER RISING KANSAS CITY WATER PRICES!!!

Beyond the social media hype . . . Let's not forget that a grassroots group still hopes to force an independent Missouri State Audit of the KCMO Water Department.

And $5 BILLION worth of water improvements mandated by the EPA still threatens to sink this town.

Meanwhile, water bills for KCMO consumers continue to rise and have started to become something of a social justice issue among many local advocates.

The response to this concern???

Cartoons!!!

Take a look:

Learn how KC Water transforms water from the Missouri River into high-quality, great-tasting drinking water that is delivered right to your tap.

And then some delightful toilet humor puns . . .

Down the toilet or down the drain, find out what happens to wastewater after it leaves your home . . . Hint: You're drinking toilet water.

This is all fascinating stuff but still not as important as an essential resource moving out of the price-range of so many local residents.

And so . . . While 2017 threatens to become a year dominated by pet projects and massive debt . . . Beneath the service, a Kansas City crisis is starting to bubble to the surface and threatens to financially drown a great many locals.

Developing . . .

  2. Typical bait and switch. I notice that there's nothing about water in Sly's latest bond proposal. That's the next tax that KC can't live without. At some point, the well is going to run dry. We're getting closer to that now.

  9. City officials will never allow an audit of water revenues. That is one of the three major slush fund for the corruption machine. Everything including the kitchen sink is paid out of our water bills, consultants, contract employees, the construction of the swope park soccer facilities and other construction activities throughout the City. Always vague language us used deliberately when presented to the Council "infrastructure" "planning"... A forensic audit would reveal some of the depth of malfeasance ongoing in our City Hall. You will note the text of ordinances with revenue sheets are no longer visible to the public on the City's website.

  15. Need a tip?
Look at all the claims the last 5 years the water department has paid out- hitting other utilities with blatant disregard for dig locates- millions paid? Who was held accountable? No one? What's the plan to avoid millions more? No plan? All the claims the past 5 years and they could CUT water rates. Big scandal !
