Basically, the media dude in question claims politicos screwed with his soccer stadium consulting contract. The lawsuit demands $15K in compensation.
This is an important story that could inspire debate about media vs. political vs. biz conflicts. However, more than anything it shows us that suburban politics is becoming increasingly sordid.

ReplyDeleteLee's Summit has been in decline since 1999. The place is a shit hole full of wannabe millionaires who are living in debt. It's all plasterboard and attitude. Almost as bad as Grandview and going that way fast.

ReplyDeleteThis is horrible news for the pocket book of Lee's Summit. When will this deadbeat stop costing us money? I'm certain that $15000 is just the minimal dollar amount to file the lawsuit. Take a look at the lawyers for the plaintiff... Those guys wouldn't touch this case for a measly cut of 15 grand. Those lawyers are straight up skull crackers. I'm guessing Lee's Summit will have to hire 3rd party council on this as the city attorney probably has his hands full dealing with all the other bullshit Moreno has brought to the city. Guess that Moreno can just add whatever amount of judgment that is rendered to his bankruptcy. I will probably listen to worship music tonight and pray that somewhere in this lawsuit some serious criminal wrongdoings will be exposed and he will get to spend some time behind bars. Moreno you are an embarrassing train wreck of a human. I cant wait till they recall your worthless ass. Dumb,fat and stupid is no way to go through life son.

Not sure that a couple of years getting to roll in a behind on payments Cadillac Escalade is worth the messs he is putting the family in. Maybe she will choke him in his sleep and save everyone a big headache.

I know he sucked twice running for state Rep. I know he was sued for $10k working as a Democrat political consultant. But come on there are a ton of positive traits about this guy.
