ReplyDelete10:08: If the crook got a $25 fine and probation, that would be a crackdown in KC and Jackson Co. I would be surprised if anybody paid any attention at all. The last guy that broke into my car (around UMKC and Rockhurst) was caught by my husband and escorted to the university security office. The security guard told us not to even bother calling the KCMO police because they weren't going to come out anyway. It would just cost us a day's pay (or more) to watch the guy walk. He has a sheet that went on forever for property crimes, but nothing had ever come of any of the charges.
