KANSAS CITY RUCKUS TONIGHT!!!

The long-running GOLD STANDARD of mainstream Kansas City political discourse offers an impressive show this evening and following a trubulent first week of Prez Trump's tenure.

Check the description . . .

"Mike Shanin interviews attorney James Orr about concerns relating to new apartment complex developments in Westwood. Then Jamekia Kendrix, Steve Glorioso, Laura McConwell and Woody Cozad discuss Trump's immigration ban and subsequent protests, allowing concealed carry on college campuses and public facilities in Kansas and early speculation about candidates for the 2018 race for Kansas governor."

Take a look:

Thank you Mike Shanin for all that you do for Kansas City. You are objective and provide an essential resource for our community!

Mike Shanin? Objective?

Sure, he's as objective as any anchor on Fox News.

Well, except Shep Smith.

Show should be called "Drivel"

Bold talk Mo Rage from someone who doesn't even live around here.

Steve Gloriasshole. Spell it correctly.

Woody Cozad remains the undisputed all-time champion of Ruckus!

He sailed through this appearance with no contenders in sight.

So, once upon a time Glorioso was KCMO City Clerk, is that right? That's how he came to be a City Hall hanger-on?

Very VERY weak panel. Cozad was the class of the show. If this is the caliber going forward rating will drop dramatically.

"Cuck" a weak, feckless, spineless, and decidedly pathetic specimen of manliness.

Good show, nice back and forth. Democrats should grow accustomed to losing.

Yep that describes Mo Rage to a T. Cuck is the perfect word for him.

Hey now, can't we all just agree that nobody wants to vote for Glorioso and his new taxes?

Let's be reasonable.

Felt very sorry for Mike Shanin watching this.

Steve Glorioso was nearly spastic during the first segment. Mike actually had to tell him to calm down at one point.

Laura McConwell .... yikes..... more problems with her train of thought. She seems unable to decide what she wants to say and also seems nervous/distracted. At one point she was fidgeting with her necklace and was hitting it on the mic. Ugh. For the record, I'm the one who said I'd veto her further participation after her first appearance. My mind has not changed after this episode.

Jamekia Kendrix while generally more composed that the previous two panelists did jump in and start talking when Mike asked Woody a question which was not appropriate.

Woody Cozad as 9:09 mentioned earlier in the comments was very articulate and made a number of substantive points. He was the saving grace of the episode.

Mike Shanin does an excellent job as always (herding cats) but it was too bad the panelists were too long winded and he didn't get to his roast.

Any Ruckus without Mary/Maury "the mouth" and Gwen/Glenn the "hair hat" is a great Ruckus.

If you're gonna play in KC, ya gotta have jig in the band....
