Kansas City Public School Conversation

Take Note - Our Schools: Does Zipcode Matter?

Can't even stomach to watch the whole thing - as usual Carpenter has to keep talking. If 60% of learning is effected by things outside the school WHY did he choose to waste so much money in HM on his pet projects. WHY wasn't there more of an effort to understand the 60% and find ways and resources to help address those issues. I hope and pray that the HM School Board will look for a replacement outside the district - anyone already in the district will continue Carpenter's agenda of resume building with no positive outcome for the kids. The Board needs to find someone with a proven track record of working with districts like HM, not another blow hard with NO experience. LS you are in for a ride - build a fire and hold his feet to it or you'll find yourself in deeper debt with a bunch of his cockamamie ideas and before you know it he's on his way to the next high paying job.
