KANSAS CITY HATES THE STREETCAR!!! ROCK BREAKS TOY TRAIN WINDOW TODAY!!!

For the record, TKC was playing video games and/or getting coffee at the time . . .

KCTV5: Police investigate after rock breaks Kansas City Streetcar window - Authorities are investigating after someone threw a rock and broke a Kansas City Streetcar window. It happened about 1:20 p.m. Monday near Third and Wyandotte streets. Officers say someone threw a rock that broke one of the windows.

That photo was taken from a previous Kansas City streetcar crash but serves to illustrate the ongoing problems when politicos don't let Kansas City voters participate in their grand schemes.

  1. This story probably relates more to the homeless problem. Can't imagine people are THAT pissed off.

  2. EVERYONE LOVES the streetcar!

Isn't that what Sly keeps saying?

  3. Did they have to evacuate the hundreds of people who were riding the streetcar at the time?

  4. Was it thrown from the inside or the outside?

  5. Where was Blowholio Botello at the time of this tragedy ?

    I did it!

I was pissed off about all of the money that should have gone to city services being wasted on James' Legacy.

I thought the notion that the streetcar would encourage economic development was the dumbest thing I ever heard, until Conway said there was a massacre in Bowling Green, KY.

The streetcar's very existence is an insult to every one living in poverty in your city of broken fountains.

I used Scotty's transporter to beam myself there, commit this act of rebellion, & beam back to West Virginia.

This is just the beginning ...

  7. Buses are coming in to get riders to their destinations!

  8. Funkyasshouser, you are not smart enough to dress without help. But then a dress goes with that shaven ass you sport. Sheep Shagger.

  9. Looks like Streetcar enthusiasts are sensitive about their streetcar that everyone else hates.

  10. Looks like The Ferrals are waking up to the fact that Sly & Company is spending money on hipsters instead of them.

Nope. Turned his back on citizens of their neighborhoods. The only thing he has done for them is cut the police force down which lets them run amuck. Heck he even seems to be willing to sacrifice the Plaza for his precious downtown.

Shootin' and a lootin' while the trolley goes a tootin'.

Better do something before the large riots start and Trump decides to send in the National Guard. Sly's bullhorn bloviating will mean even less than it does now.

  11. Damn shame that this trolley has taken all of KC's money!

DETROIT -- A QLine streetcar was discovered vandalized in Detroit on Monday, but representatives with the public-private transportation project won't comment on the damage to the costly vehicle or security measures.

The train was tagged with graffiti that read "World's greatest" and "ACAB," apparently a common anti-police acronym meaning "all cops are bastards."

  14. I love the streetcar! It has contributed to so many things including lowering the crime rate. Hundreds if not thousands of jobs have been created and millions in taxes raised.
While Johnson County can point out the great businesses and budding city expansion- KC's top tourist draw is the famed train! Johnson Countians are floored by the progressive technology that rivals steam engines and advanced horse and buggy mechanics.

Johnson Countians are jealous they can't afford free transportation like the heft coffers in KC can!

Mix in the astute-Mensa-like braininess of Sly- and Johnson Countians know their great big new airport- that will put KCI in the junk pile- won't able to compete with the toy train.

I wish I could afford to live in KC and pay their taxes and enjoy their crime as entertainment!

  15. Maybe Mary Sanchez will retire and volunteer to sign up voters to help vote for saving KCI from Johnson County.

That would guarantee MCI would never upgrade or expand.

I can't wait for Brownback to introduce mass transportation to the new JoCo Airport. Write SW Airlines today and urge them to accept Trump money to put KC out of the airport business.

Payback for Sly supporting the stupid protesters.

Trump will Trump Sly every time!!!

  16. Brownback can tie both arms behind his back and use half his brain and STILL outmaneuver Sly and the incompetence across the state line.

Hello and welcome JoCo International Airport!

  17. Ernest T Bass must be in town.

  18. I'm not sure about Mr. Bass, but there's no doubt that P.T. Barnum has taken up residence in KCMO quite a while ago.
    Address? 12th and Oak.
    This way to the egress!

Yeah, this will probably lead to the city ordering another streetcar ahead of the inevitable expansion. See you guys there...

    ReplyDelete
  21. It obviously wasn't Tony since his fat ass couldn't run away fast enough after throwing a rock. He probably hired a niglet or one of his illegal friends

    ReplyDelete
  22. 7:45: So true. But you forgot to mention the 24 million tourists the streetcar brings in each and every day.

    ReplyDelete
  23. That streetcar is such a joke and the people who talked about it and helped get it voted in and rode it talking to video cameras are beginning to look like real fools. Did the city forget to get shatter proof glass? Did the backers of the Trolley cry when their pride and jo got hurt. NANANANANANANA
