From its inception Boulevard Brewery Chocolate Ale was plagued by bad reviews and and even a recall.
Last year there was a hint that they were taking a break on this product that was prized by locals and even fetched higher prices from irrationally exuberant online bidders . . . But alas, there's no love for the Valentine's Day swill this 2017 and beer snobs celebrate the occasion or lack thereof . . .

Tried some last year and that chocolate ale is nasty and was seriously overhyped.
