Just go back up to where in starts there in Overland Park follow it all through Prairie Village and Mission Hills right along side the so called most elite country club in Kansas City along Ward Parkway through the Plaza and just look at all the trash in it.
ReplyDeleteThen in a heavy rain just think of all those neighborhood flushing all their crap into it. Wait till a storm happens on trash day in one of those neighborhoods and trash cans and trash blowing everywhere with a good portion of it ending up in Brush Creek.
Not a new story, but a story older than anyone reading this blog.
So now Kansas City wants you to think part of that 800 million is for an issue well over close to 150 years old is now an important issue?
If Kansas City had some smart leaders besides Bullhorn James. they would be filing suits (Which Bullhorn knows how to do very well against a city) against all the rich Johnson County people who through the years have increased the run off and trash issues of Brush Creek that ends up in Kansas City.
Stop trying to draw and bend over to Kansas suburbanites who come here and trash the place in one form or the other and the city will become livable again.
