So all you anti-abortion zealots out there answer, especially this: if abortion gets outlawed are you prepared for literally millions more on welfare, thousands more in prison, and a huge increase in crime? Because that is what you're going to get. Do you really want over 20 million more black people? Because that is how many have been aborted since Roe v Wade. I don't understand how people don't think Planned Parenthood is ,one year well spent. It literally saves us hundreds of millions of dollars and reduces crime.

ReplyDeleteRoe v Wade is settled law: telling a woman she can't have an abortion is a violation of her constitutional right to privacy.
ReplyDeleteTelling a woman that she must have her rapist, father's child against her wishes is not freedom. The rights of the born out weigh the rights of the unborn.
In this new era of fascism, this is one more personal freedom that is in jeopardy.
Making women have babies against their wishes is not putting Americans first.

ReplyDeleteAbsent in this discussion is the disagreement on what constitutes a baby. A zygote smaller than the point of a pin? A 4- month-old fetus? Nobody wants to kill babies. This is really about religion and contraception and intellectual cowardice: a refusal to define terms. Middle ground is possible but not for dummies who believe virgins get knocked up and the earth is 6000 years old.

A miscarriage can be manslaughter, if it occurs through someone's grossly reckless conduct. There is no criminality without intentional or reckless conduct.
