TKC MUST READ!!! METH TOWN VICTIM TARGETS POLICE WITH COMPLAINTS AFTER HORRIFIC GANG RAPE NOW CONNECTED TO SEX ASSAULT OF JOCO DEPUTY!!!

Stunning turn of events and DNA evidence touted in this tragic story that reminds us the metro area is much smaller than we realize . . . Fox4 makes the connection from this Independence, MO rape case to suspects in the sex assault of a Joco Deputy with far more precision than the wordy Cosmo article . . . But the national mag has better art and broke the story.

Supporters of this lady lashed out at the TKC Blog Community over reader comments that offered a strange amount of deets about the meth town investigation but the teaching moment in all of this (given that hindsight is 20/20) MIGHT be an ongoing reminder to pay attention to the allegations of sex assault victims so that creeper suspects don't grow more emboldened in their attacks against women throughout the community.

Take a look:

Police Said They Couldn't Find the Men Who Gang-Raped This Woman While Her 2-Year-Old Watched. Then Another Woman Was Raped.
You decide but remember that this lady is now essentially on the same team as a JoCo Deputy who suffered a similar horrific assault.

  2. I read this story and tried to be objective. Yes it is tragic that this horrific crime happened but I am appalled by the victim's disgust over police questions. Listen lady, the police HAVE to ask all the questions about various things in an investigation. They are not questioning your truthfulness when they ask about other persons you have had relationships with or other motivation involved in a case. You may be personally offended by it but it is part of finding the truth because whether you or this author wants to believe it, SOME women have made claims of unknown rape when it was a person they knew OR some women have been involved in something willingly then thought about it and made a claim. It seems the Independence Police Department did everything they could and even collected and tested the DNA that eventually allowed for an arrest. Why is this whole story about how "people don't believe victims" when the cops did exactly what they were supposed to do and a suspect is in custody for an unknown rape within a year? This gal has gone through a nightmare but she should be complimenting the police instead of whining about how they conducted the investigation.

  3. Independence PD is comprised of the metros worsts shit heels infected with terminal tunnel vision. For the most part they enjoy their jobs as cops, but they just don't seem to grasp the notion of doing good cop work. In short, the department as a whole is just lazy. The department is certainly not victim concentric and tends to apply the same attitudes towards victims as they do offenders. They would rather bully and domineer than assist as assisting seems to be below their executive status. All you have to do is research the history of issues at the Independence Police Department to grasp that it needs a complete house cleaning to change the arrogant and insensitive culture that exists among these "Barny Fifes".

  4. This article is painfully ignorant. I get that she's a victim and she felt she was further victimized by the investigation, but if every angle is not pursued "reasonable doubt" will free the suspect regardless of guilt. The legal system was never designed to protect the victims; it was designed to protect the accused. It's brutal, it's heartbreaking and it sucks, but this is the way the world works.

  7. Thank you 8:07 for some reason in your comment. If you want to blame somebody, blame that suspects. What the article and so many keyboard activists don't realize and aren't saying is that without the work of the Independence PD, there would be no evidence in the case against the perpetrator.

Think before you make your accusations!

  8. If IPD collected any evidence it would have to be by accident. I doubt they have yet to see any use for it.

  9. Sad and painful. If the IPD had really done any work they could have stopped this POS before the second attack and I bet there were more date rape situations before this guy before he went to getting fucked up and breaking down doors. But it reminds me of police in my suburb.

We have a business dumpster that people for whatever reason that can't pay their trash bill dump in. It includes mail with their address, but the police say that proves nothing and will not investigate. Fine, minor crime, no big deal but hate that the police act that way in a rape case.
