HE BROKE UP THE BIG CITY HALL BLANK CHECK . . . He made the GO BOND ask more manageable on the upcoming April ballot. More importantly, he stood up to Mayor Sly James . . . AND WON.
1st District Council Lady Heather Hall
She's on record asking important questions about transparency and letting voters know EXACTLY what they're approving when we talk bond issues.
2nd District Council Lady Teresa Loar
The local lady veteran has a better understanding of KCMO politics than just about anyone at 12th & Oak. She played THE LONG GAME and championed the animal shelter issue that's the only thing about people really want to approve. She has been thinking YEARS AHEAD of other politicos and her strategy will help Kansas City animal rights activists get the kind of new facility that this town so desperately needs.

Today was the start of the Trump-era. His disciples can't be ignored, instead they now take center state in Kansas City and all over the world.

The delicate dance betwixt protesters & police can either display the magnificence of our Democracy . . . Or the impending collapse of a great society. Kansas City has many ongoing disputes but a strength of this town is our ability to agree to disagree.

ReplyDeleteUh, I think you're being fooled by the trickery of Mayor James and Councilman Lucas. Don't play ignorant and pretend that they aren't working together on this $800M boondoggle.
I don't understand it, but you've got a thing for Lucas, evidenced by your constant praise and nary a word of criticism. As soon as he announced for the Council, you were swallowing the misinformation that he's our next Mayor, hook line and sinker.
Lucas is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Good comment, be skeptical of all at City Hall. Bit those two working together? There's not a room in KCMO big enough for their heads. Maybe that is why they want that hotel.
