A great many of our blog community notice that local newsies are backing off predictions.
And it turns out locals might have stocked up on pallets on carbs for no real reason . . . Again.
Then again . . . Forecasts are still changing and a couple of newsies are sticking to their guns about upcoming fear . . .

ReplyDeleteyep--sadly-- 80% chance of nasty ice storms this weekend in KC metro -- worse in other areas in Midwest -- calling for the worst ice storm in 10 years.
Wish it was fake.. but..flights, trains in the midwest already being canceled for the weekend.

They screwed up and wasted 10's of thousands of parents vacation days and or child care dollars. The decision to postpone cost KC families millions of dollars. This should be a felony. At the least people should be outraged and call the "chicken littles" for what they are.

Hell they do when it rains already! Given this thing is not even going to start cranking until Saturday night and is going to be over with by Sunday afternoon the effect should be damn sear zero unless you are working overnight Saturday or going to work Sunday morning. Jesus I never see a town like KC where someone scratching their nads makes headline news.
