More deets about the new system:

"It is used by some of the largest and most prestigious public library systems in North America . . . 1. It would be a wonderful idea if the nations libraries would form a strategic plan to get content online. In the long run it would save American tax payers billions, be ecologically friendly, save millions in fuels consumption costs, reduce brick and mortar costs significantly and improve access and acquisition time beyond belief. Hell, if we can do it with porn we ought to do it with books. I guess such a situation would just fuck up the concept that smart cities are those with a couple of intermittently operating kiosks near trains loaded with 1900's technology.
