Kansas City Congressman Cleaver Vows Golden Rule Response To Prez-Elect Trump

An important pledge this weekend from Kansas City's Congressman amid suspicion that the Russians interfered in the election . . .

"Therefore, I will regulate my congressional conduct, in compliance with the Golden Rule. I will not attend any meeting in any hotel or elsewhere to plot the failure of the President-elect. I will not join others in congress to purposely cause legislative gridlock because I would not want it done to a democrat in the White House. If the president succeeds, I succeed for I am a citizen of this country . . ."

Read his whole statement right here . . .

  1. Whats next for the libtards? They gonna claim a UFO came to earth and inoculated all the voting machines?

Given that Democrats com[prose almost a super minority in congress it really doesn't matter a whole lot whether Cleaver cooperates or acts like a libtard. It isn't like they have had any legislative experience in the past 8 years.

  2. Cleaver is a gutless wonder. His job is to sabotage the Republicans in every way possible at every opportunity. They have declared war on the American people.

Cleaver has turned into a black Neville Chamberlain. (For those of you educated in Kansas City public schools, Chamberlain was a notorious British leader who gave Hitler what he wanted and promised that it would bring "peace in our time." Didn't quite work out.)

  3. No one in Washington, including the Democrats, pay any attention whatever to Cleaver.
His sole accomplishment is to occasionally get a couple million bucks stuffed into some obscure bill and have something to spread around to the usual suspects in KCMO.
The money then disappears into thin air as in the Green Impact Zone.
If he really paid any attention to Golden Rules or other ethical considerations from religion, he'd pay back his $1.2 million SBA loan without having his salary garnished.
He and his wife, both on public payrolls, make over $300 grand a year.
There are few things worse than combining religion and blatant hypocrisy.

  5. Lets hope, that the Democrats hand over the party to a Radical Muslim who follows Louis Farrakhan.

  6. I have a feeling that all the democrats need to do is wait and watch this upcoming disaster unfold.

  11. 7:51 You just did and it was a result of Democrats doing all that they had to do to ...which is usually nothing constructive. Meet your new president.

  13. Cleaver's politics disgust me and I wouldn't vote for him of you held a gun to my head; but let's give credit where credit is due. He doesn't want to get kicked to the curb by a bunch of pissed off honkeys, so he is adapting to his new environment. I commend him in this. It places him way ahead of most AA's who simply shit in anything good or profitable that comes their way.

  14. Emanuel Cleaver is a self admitted "Stupid Preacher" only supports that idea with the dumbest quote so far from a Democratic Congressman in the Age Of Trump.

  20. 2:12, the DJIA is up about 1,000 points since November 8. But as you say, Trump's victory may not be the cause. More likely it is a sudden realization that Obama has only another month in office.
