"Jackson County legislators are discussing going to the voters for a bond issue to pay for major work on the county jail and perhaps other projects. Legislators point out that they are nowhere near having enough information to even decide whether to stick with the current building at 13th and Cherry in downtown Kansas City – which officials say is built in a way that makes operations inefficient – or to look at a new facility."

Maybe they shouldn't have spent money for a bicycle trail from Lee's Summit to the stadium. Use Combat money rather than spending it on "Creative Cooking for Cons". Kick Tindall and all the other cronies out of the courthouse and use their salaries. C'mon folks, there's plenty of other ideas rather then a bond issue.

We need to spend the money for training and salaries for the staff.
