Great insight here that collects all of the pro-hockey rumors passed around lately and almost a decade after former Mayor Kay Barnes promised this Kansas City voters that we would get a NHL or NBA team downtown instead of just a b-list end of tour venue. All of downtown KC has been a huge lie, from Cordish and the P&L district to the train set that goes a hundred yards and then breaks down, to that great big empty arena full of broken promises.
ReplyDeleteNow they're getting ready to fill up "Do Nothing Mayor Park" (Berkley Park) with a bunch of do nothing buildings with tons of parking so you can drive down there, park your car and do nothing.
Forgive me Blogger King for noting that the St Louis Blues dont have an AHL affiliate in St Louis nor do I believe do they own the Chicago Wolves, their current AHL affiliate.
