TKC MUST READ!!! KANSAS CITY MEDIA MOGUL CRAIG GLAZER CONSIDERS THE RACE CARD AND TRUMP RISE TO POWER!!!

An important perspective about the Prez-Elect and post-election drama from our pal Craig . . .

Craig Glazer: Was The Race Card An Issue That Put Trump In The White House?

One day after the shocking upset by Donald Trump defeating Hillary Clinton for the presidency, we are seeing protests and small riots. 'He is not my president' say the groups and signs. NBA stars are already saying they will not attend the usual white house invite when their team wins the NBA championship. Some NFL players will likely miss the event if their team wins the Super Bowl. Why? Simple they see Trump as a racist.

Is Trump a racist? Did the silent majority vote him in much because he had little sympathy for groups like 'Black Lives Matter' and was very strong behind police action against minorities and violence in cities like Chicago? The answer is yes he is a law and order guy. Is he a racist, I don't think so, he is a realist. He wants to fix the bad neighborhoods and encourage African Americans to stop killing each other and destroying their own communities. That's his plan. Will he follow up? Time will tell.

I do believe the race card was an issue. It wasn't and isn't politically correct to talk about it is it. It's clear that many of the white voters want to stop the flow of foreign groups, mostly Muslims, Mexican and middle easterners from entering the United States. This was a huge issue on his agenda. Hillary Clinton seemed to think all was kinda 'well' with all these issues and we were working on it. The silent majority, if they are a majority, didn't agree with her or President Obama, that things were going in the right direction.

However we saw yesterday a pleasant meeting between Trump and Obama. Clinton was also kind in her speech on being defeated by Trump. All the leaders seem to agree we need to unite behind the new president. This in hopes his policies will lighten up a bit and be fair to everyone. Trump has a huge advantage with a Republican House and Senate. Trump has been kind in his words on both Obama and even Clinton. It seems unlikely he will have the government pursue any criminal actions against the Clintons. I think that is the best route. Lets put all this behind us and try and 'fix' whats broken. Jobs, trade, slow down the violence, improve urban neighborhoods that need new schools, housing and better policing.

Donald Trump is the president. He is now the leader of the free world. It's best to all make nice and give him and his team a chance to do whats right before we judge. He might just surprise everyone and make things better. So before so many get on the 'hate' train give him a chance to see what he is really all about. He might really surprise millions of people. I believe he wants to do whats right. He wants to spend the last years of his life being a great leader and making America better. We need to fix our military, stop getting involved in every middle eastern battle that leads to nowhere with thousands of American troops killed or wounded for no reason. We need to strengthen our ties to Israel our number one military ally and 'let them' do the dirty work if needed. Trump seems to understand that regarding even ISIS.

The truth is we just don't know which way this will go. Yet our nation felt they wanted to take a chance on Trump. Too many were fed up with the way things have been and are going. The health care plan by Obama was a great idea but ended up being expensive and rejected by too many doctors. It needs to be modified. We all need health care but it has to be fair and affordable. Lets see if Trump can get things done and be fair with everyone before too many get hateful. As the Beatles said 'Give peace a chance.' Maybe just maybe Trump will be a man of the people. Lets see.

  1. Craig does a nice job here and he nails it when he shows us that some of these protesters just aren't willing to give trump a chance. It's a shame that we can't come together as a nation and realize that frustration with the status quo is what's driving us all apart.

  2. Al Gore won the popular vote, Obama won the popular vote, Hillary won the popular vote. Republicans only win the races they steal.

  3. I have a lot of hope for Trump but if he doesn't live up to his promises his supporters will quickly turn against him.

If you don't, then live with it.

  5. 3:03 Why don't you get off your black stinking ass and run for office. You can show the world how it is done then. You might want to take a few government classes first though so you wont be whining and looking like an ass.

  6. Craig who was for Hillary here showing his hate again. Stupid fucker can't even make his business run but thinks he knows politics.

  7. If Trump didn't do a thing for the next 4 years at least he wouldn't be fucking things up like Obamy or getting people killed and compromising national security like Hilliary. At worst he will make damn sure another Clinton will never be president unless the little beaver faced princess gets to thinking she is entitled too.

  8. Negroes know that the gravy train has stopped running for them.

The biggest thing I ever heard about anti-Trump voters was that he would probably start a war. It's not a war between nations that I'm worried about (Obama and his dramatic cuts to our military has ensured that). It's the war between negroes and whites.

Negroes see on the horizon a government that holds people more accountable for their actions. Negroes see a government that is going to cut government spending, including welfare. Negroes see a government that tells them to get a job. Negroes see a government where their ghettos will be torn down or refurbished for better living. Negroes see a government that does away with Obamacare, and makes them pay for their own. Negroes see a future where liberal politicians, journalists, and Hollywood elites won't make any difference compared to the core of middle America.

Trump is the greatest thing to happen to our white culture since Reagan. May he reverse all of Obama's bad decisions. May he begin the reversal of LBJ's Great Society. May he rebuild our military back to a force to be reckoned with. May he bring back jobs from oversees. May he give us tax cuts. May he stop illegal immigration.

Negroes know they will suffer for all of this. And whites know that they have it coming. They've earned what's about to happen to them.

  9. As Sinn Fein was viewed by the British as the political arm of the militant Irish Republican Army, so too did white, working class voters view the Democratic Party as the political arm of Black Lives Matter. Whether this view is legitimate or not is a different discussion. The Democratic Party began the process of losing white, working class voters on August 9, 2014 (the events in Ferguson that begot Black Lives Matter and its progeny).

  12. GIVE IT A BREAK GLAZER!

Just the other day you were explaining why Hillary Clinton was going to be our next President.

Talking out of your mouth and ass simultaneously, is not a good look.

Just be glad that businessman Trump will at least be trying to help the economy recover, versus Clinton who wanted to continue and extend the heavy-handed Obama approach.

  13. If 3:26 is correct, then white, "working class" voters are too fucking stupid for their own good. Oh wait, Thomas Frank already wrote that book ten years ago. Scared to death of their black shadows.

  14. Tony, your so called "Pal" Craig didn't write this. Anyone who has ever read his rants or comments knows this tweep hasn't the ability to do stories as this and it's a bad story full of typical Trump hate we have seen since the election. The White House visit wasn't all cookies and ice cream like he would like you to think it was.
Obama made it clear months ago Trump would never be elected. Race had nothing to do with this election. Crooked politicians in power is what made this election go this way.
People are tired of crooks such as Glazer and his buddies Hillary and Obama ruining our lives.

  15. This is real simple. Lucid Americans tolerated 8 years of Barrack and his bulshit and we didn't burn dow the statue of libtery. Now we threw a vote and as the rules go Trump won. Again all this shit about who got the popular vote is crap - particularly given that there are still uncounted votes and still certified elections in many states. Regardless Trump won.

Now you cry baby, tantrum throwing pricks have two choices. You can start acting like fucking grown ups and tolerate the next 8 years of Trump or you can keep pushing buttons until rational citizens get enough of your juvenile bullshit. This time you wont have Holder and Obama to cover your asses and this time the police won't be afraid of your ignorant bullshit. So grow up or take your lumps. There are fucking limits. You need to take the advice while the choice is yours.

The KC Star was all Clinton..Glazer was backing this guy from day one. Yes he said he thought that Clinton would beat him at the finish line but left out hope for a 'fighters' chance. Trump won, Glazer was definately for Trump. Not Clinton. He musta wrote like 20 stories on it here and kcc. So shut the fuck up haters. The Glazer is a sharp cookie.

  23. Hatyes fake names like Glazer11/11/16, 5:00 PM

Rice is one of the names that Glazer makes his false posts from. Just as he was using AJ Finney's name to make comments in here with and I know that AJ was really pissed that someone was using his name. AJ just doesn't know who was doing it yet. Sad to think a loser like Glazer would think we all fall for this fraudulent stuff. You would think after serving jail time for such Glazer would know better than to try and do stuff such as this anymore.

  26. 3:23 get ready for a whole lot disappointment from broken campaign promises. That wall will never be built. He isn't going to deport illegals en masse, American corporations want them here. Nobody, particularly one person can bring jobs back. Think Trump can just impose tariffs on China? Think again. China can flood the market with U.S. bonds making the dollar worthless. China can literally start another Great Depression overnight. You believed all the bluster and almost none of it is going to happen. You are going to be so disappointed four years from now when not one yard of concrete has been poured for that wall or thousands of them still work in Western Kansas feedlots. Last, we could cut $2 billion from our defense spending and nobody would notice. The waste in defense is astronomical, not too mention we spend more than the next 30 countries combined on defense. Twenty-nine of them are allies. Trump also promised a better national Healthcare so we'llsee if he breaks that promise too.

At home I got in the shower and began to cry even harder. My boyfriend, who had already wept, watched me as I mumbled incoherently, clutching myself. It wasn't supposed to go this way. It was supposed to be her job. She worked her whole life for the job. It's her job.

  34. 5:42 that is one well thought out, intelligent retort. We are talking about the President-elect. Where was Obama brought up anywhere in the conversation? Btw, I didn't vote for Obama either time. One other thing, please tell us what campaign promises Obama broke? I'll give you one I'm not happy about: we're still in Afghanistan. What else you got? I'm able to objectively look at things and overall think Of Obama did a good job. We didn't invade the wrong country, my company will have record sales this year, housing market is strong, our 401k has more than rebounded from 2008. I hope Trump can keep it up.

  36. Hill's Snowflake #2954324511/11/16, 7:23 PM

The three hours I spent at the Center Tuesday night, fellow surrogates for Hillary Clinton, are blurred and spotty. At a certain point it became clear something had gone horribly wrong. Celebrants' faces turned. The modeling had been incorrect. Watching the numbers in Florida, I touched my face and realized I was crying. "Can we please go home?" I said to my boyfriend. I could tell he was having trouble breathing, and I could feel my chin breaking into hives.

    ReplyDelete
  37. 6:39 - I agree with 5:42, who, rightly, brings up BARRY for contrast of what has already transpired in Obama's two terms with what 5:37's crystal ball projects for Trump.

5:42 doesn't lay on a white papers load of details, but we know there's a yuuuuuge resource of online listings of BO's unmet promises --very easily found. So many of us instantly recall: "If you like your doctor/plan, you can keep your doctor/plan."

  38. Prez-elect Trump spoke of prioritizing good education of our nation's youth and providing good care of our veterans.

  40. Barack Obama is our President, not Trump. Get your tenses right. We have a President, we have a Supreme Court nominee, we have a Senate. It is long past time for the Senate, having "advised" the President, to fulfill their Constitutional obligations and "consent" to confirm Justice Merrick Garland. Refusal of senators to perform their Constitutionally defined duties constitutes sedition.

  43. Just saw this and it makes sense. Trump win was a vote for law and order, against groups like 'Black Lives Matter' , racial and radical unrest. The writer makes valid points and there just is not a good answer til we see what Trump will do when he gets in the oval office.
