TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! JACKSON COUNTY EMPLOYEES EARN FREE ELECTION DAY DONUTS AS KANSAS CITY VOTING REWARD GIMMIES ABOUND!!!

Let's face it . . . Neither of the presidential candidates and their horrible suits and haircuts are going to do anything much for locals on Kansas City streets.

Accordingly . . . Let's look at how voters can profit from their participation in one of many pointless rituals to start the holiday season.

First, in fairness, the County deserves a bit of congratulations for a nice gesture . . . Here's the word from a KICK-ASS COURTHOUSE INSIDER . . .

"We bought all County employees donuts today. Thought I'd tell you since you'll probably hear we are trying to buy votes or something . . ."

Update . . . Here's photo proof for all of the amateur sleuths out there . . .

It's not as good as an affordable healthcare plan but it'll have to for today.

Even better . . .

Here's a quick recap of local place offering free stuff. Feel free to list any more in the comments . . .

  1. Good on Frank White for doing this!

All the county employees ever got from Sanders was a pink slip.

A donut on the house is better than nothing.

  2. Thanks for the list TKC.

I've also heard the McCoy's was offering a free beer but that's before their watch party at 5PM.

  3. Where were the Republican Candidates11/8/16, 3:05 PM

Being forced to attend a rally for Democrat candidates during work hours is not the same as "buying everyone donuts." Your tipster has a guilt complex.

  4. If you voted against the COMBAT tax then you really stand to make far more profit on your home without the county taking their cut.

  5. KC tinfoil hat11/8/16, 3:14 PM

This might be more sinister than you are reporting TKC.

Have you seen most County employees? Half of them look like they have diabetes. Maybe Frank was hoping to thin the herd.

  6. Using taxpayer money to buy gifts for employees is illegal, at the most unethical. I don't want politicians trying to buy favor with their employees with my money. And, by the way, isnt it VERY odd that he is buying his employees doughnuts on the very day he is on the ballot? In the old days it was whiskey. Maybe someone ought interview the 2nd baseman.

  7. This was a political rally at taxpayer expense, Tony has no clue. I was there.

  8. How many doughnuts you want to bet that the Caleb Clifford thought he was being a GENIUS by tipping off Tony? The use of public money to buy gifts on any day IS illegal. On Election Day when you are on the ballot? Very bad indeed.

  9. 11/8/16, 3:30 PM BINGO!!

  10. An employee of the Parks and Rec Dept. had their job threatened this afternoon by Michelle Newman because she believes that employee leaked information about the rally to Tony.

  11. Tony still believes that Skippy quit to "spend more time with his family."

I love the way Caleb licks my bunghole. I will believe anything he tells me.

Does anyone tell Frank White when he has stupid ideas?

  14. As a county employee I got a pay raise the last 9 straight years and never once was I hassled about politics or kissing ass with the higher ups. In the last 6 months I have been ORDERED to attend no less than 5 "rallys" for Frank White over this or that. Today was over the top. Anyone that says it was just about buying a few people doughnuts is naïve and uninformed. I was there. It was clear what I was supposed to do. Go out and vote for my bosses. My director told us all what the plan was. Frank and Mike are on the ballot, we have to go support them. Pendergast went to prison over stuff like this. Been working here over 30 years. NEVER have I seen such outright corruption in the open.

  15. Get your Tarwater yard signs while still available.

  16. People will spew whatever bullshit they want, but Mike Sanders was the best damn boss I have ever had. The county is totally lost without his leadership.

  17. 11/8/16, 3:49 PM

You should not have to deal with that kind of bullshit. Thank you for your service.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Frank sees public service as a means to get better Tee Times. The Pitch should FOIA his phone location records and see how often a golf course shows up.

    ReplyDelete
  19. If it was Frank or anyone else, whomever came up with this idea should resign NOW. Tomorrow morning at the latest. If there was a Republican Party in this county there would have been calls placed to the FBI already.

  20. 3:49 PM Thank you

  21. Frank plays golf for free 3 or 4 times a week at the county golf course. Makes staffers go with him. We are told that entertaining Frank is now part of our job duties. Under Shields we used to have to babysit her kid at the parks from time to time. This is worse as Fran demands all kinds of freebies, gear, balls, tee times, food drinks etc. We have been told to keep our mouths shut or we can be fired.

  22. I guess we are relying on Steve Nixon to put a stop to things like this, so that is why they happen.

  23. Dirty Laundry Time11/8/16, 4:08 PM

The donuts were clearly a capital idea.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Nah, the FBI and the DOJ will be very "slow" to look into Frank's outright corruption as they have been "focused" on trying to reduce the number of African Americans under indictment by this administration. Public corruption investigations are reserved for white people only these days. If Frank were Caucasian, this would get ugly quickly. Because hes black, he no one will want to even notice including Tony.

  25. Many people (voters) can be bought off with a box of doughnuts. And the KC establishment-aristocracy knows this.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Tony, you actually believed the "doughnuts for everyone" story? How stupid are you?

    ReplyDelete
  27. They herded a bunch of employees together for a picture, and now they are circulating that picture. Think of POWs. Both Mike Sharp and Frank White had opponents on the ballot but those opponents were not asked to attend this rally.

  28. Donuts will bring down Frank White!

And we wonder why there wasn't any real opposition to him or Jean?

    Stop huffing paint Jackson County
